"Absolutely loved it here! Aesthetically pleasing. Only a 15-20 min walk to the main attractions Salem has to offer. There’s expansion or phase 2 construction outside the property, so I’m excited to see what that’ll look like. The rooms have a mini fridge but no microwave, but guest are welcome to use the microwave on the floor above check in. Dunkin is right outside along with a convenient store. "

"To entrance is within the porte cochere. Middle of the block. You can avoid paying the $40 per day valet charge and self park at the hanover st garage or the foundry garage. We parked at the foundry garage for $1/ hr. Its a 4 minute walk from the hotel. Everything in downtown portsmouth is within walking distance and felt very safe. Strawberry Banke is a 15 minute walk and quite enjoyable. We ate at the hearth food court, it was lovely. Theres plenty of choices for food and beverage within walking distance. The only dislike i had for the hotel, was that the bed was to hard for my liking. The water pressure and space was great however. We would stay here again and i would recommend it. "

"The place needs a bit of work. The front doors were broken, the elevators were rough, and the floors and common areas seemed like they were in mid-construction (but dont think they are). The front desk attendant was so friendly, kind, and wonderful. Room was wonderfully clean and the bed and pillows were so comfortable. We will stay again. "
