The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable, the front desk staff were all super friendly and helpful with ideas for things we should see and do. The pool was chilly and dirty, it had a scum line on the wall at the water line. There are no clocks or microwaves in the rooms. You had to go down to the front lobby if you wanted to use a communal microwave, very inconvenient especially when you are on the upper floors. On our last night stay a pipe burst in the ceiling of the first floor. The staff did everything they could to keep it cleaned up, but the maintenance staff was unable to repair it that night. As a result we had no hot water to shower or wash up. No discount was offered, the solution if you wanted to shower was to take all your stuff walk across the parking lot to another hotel they own and they would give you access to a room to shower. Again not very convenient.

Clean, but a bit old feeling

The room was fine. It juat seems like it is getting older, so there are things about the room that seem like they arent at their best. Parts of the bathroom seemed grimy from age or over use.

Housekeeping is only scheduled every second day and if you happen to be in your room when they go by they do not return. As a result we had no clean towels, Kleenex etc. When we pulled out the garbage bag the inside of the container was full of black slime. The night staff did their best to help us but it clearly was a disappointing stay.

Had a great one-night stay to attend a conference nearby. The hotel is super clean and well-maintained. Room was spacious and I appreciated the smart TV so I could just log into my own apps for streaming. My only complaint is having to pay extra for parking. I get it downtown Chicago but come on, this is Hillsboro, Portland. I took one star off for that.

My nephew, I & my 2 dogs (BoJackson, 3yr old Shih Tzu, and FloJo, 1yr old pug) attended my dad’s funeral. We all appreciated the friendly atmosphere & staff. Natalie gave the warmest welcome—everyone at front desk mirrored this devotion to guests, the breakfast was fulfilling & the room provided a comfortable respite from the intensity of the trip.
