Amazing Location and Staff
So happy we chose Kimpton Riverplace Hotel for our 2 night stay in Portland. The location is gorgeous and very walkable. But the staff are what make this place really shine. They are truly exceptional and made our stay extra special.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel! The staff was very pleasant. The hotel food was great! Our suite was large and well worth the cost! Walkable to many of Portlands main sites and easy drive to great hiking spots!

If you love dogs, do go. They are not just dog friendly but there seem to be as many dogs as humans staying there. There was a brutal dog fight that occurred early morning while we were trying to sleep one dog was injured and the owners couldn’t quiet or control their animals. I would never stay at this “dog hotel” again. In addition, they did not have the room we booked for the first night in spite of my reservation.

What a gorgeous spot!
This is a very special spot! The location is perfect - outside of the Portland hub bub and homeless situation but close enough to get anywhere fast! Totally an over the top Kimpton experience!
