We stayed at the Grandior Hotel in Prague over the Christmas holiday and had a mostly pleasant experience. One of the highlights was the hotel’s convenient location. The tram station is right next to the hotel, making transportation very easy. Additionally, the city center is within walking distance, about 10–15 minutes depending on your destination, which is a great perk for exploring Prague on foot. The breakfast area was clean and well-organized, and we appreciated the variety of breakfast options available. It was a nice start to our mornings. However, there were some aspects that fell short of expectations. The beds were a major disappointment. We were given two single beds, which were small and uncomfortable. For a short stay, this might be manageable, but for a two-week visit, it was far from ideal. Having stayed in hotels that provide queen beds with comfortable mattresses, I really felt the difference and struggled to get a good night’s sleep. Another issue was the cancellation process. I needed to leave a day earlier and requested the cancellation of the last night a week in advance. Despite notifying the hotel, I later received a call from the front desk saying I had to make the cancellation through Expedia, which was quite strange. When I logged into my Expedia account, I found I couldn’t make any changes because I was already checked in. The whole process was confusing and frustrating. It’s baffling that the hotel relies on a third party for changes.

Nice clean hotel and facilities Good location comfortable and modern. Housekeepers / maids were nice and friendly as was the bell boy/ concierge. Lots of variety for the buffet breakfast.

This was not the worst hotel I’ve stayed in but not the best either. This is a solidly good hotel. We had a budget to work within and this helped. The beds are hard and the shower is functional. The breakfast is quite generous and there is a bar in the lobby. To walk from there to the main square takes 12ish min which we appreciated so we forced ourselves to see more of the city. This is a good, clean and perfectly acceptable hotel for a mildly conscious budget traveler.
