Excellent stay

Hotel was excellent. We booked an ocean view room which had an amazing view. The room was spacious, clean and bed very comfortably. The staff were extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for us - organising our trips and answering all our questions. The quality and range of food available in the Seascape restaurant was very good. Although note that due to renovations to the Shiso restaurant, the Seascape restaurant was often a la carte in the evenings and you need to book a table. Service in the bar was great, with a wide choice available. The hotel wine was good and we didn't feel the need to any buy premium wine, although it is available. There was entertainment every evening, except Sunday. This included singers, a saxophonist and steelpan group. The beach is not as extensive as the hotel photos indicate due to storms earlier this year. The Yellowfin team at the beach were very helpful with water skiing, doughnut rides and SUP. Drinks are available at the beach or brought to you at the beach. Be aware that a number of the other Elegant Hotels are closed at the moment and people were being moved to Waves or Crystal Cove. Our room was not available when we arrived - which was very disappointing. We were allocated a poolside room for the first 2 days. It was adaquate but not what we booked. We were not the only visitors to experience this.

This was a relaxing and calm stay. I enjoyed the beach front property and the food was good but very limited food. I did not like that they didn't have any entertainment at night. Also the taxi’s were very expensive. The rooms were nice but property is still being fixed.

Service was amazing, Staff extremely friendly, very personable. Understanding that I didn't travel in peak season but dinning options were limited. The Asian restaurant was closed half the time which just left the main dinning room as the only option. That said, this wasn't a show stopper as the main dinning room did provide different options daily. The staff were definitely the star of the show. 6 star service from all, every time.

If you’re looking for quiet and relaxed this is the resort for you. It’s not party spot at all and they don’t have a time of entertainment. If you just want beach time, solitude, nice family time then you will enjoy as I did. I took advantage of spa services and was pleased with the experience. All the staff are hospitable and seem genuine in their concern that you enjoy your time with them. Ryan went out of his way as well as Ashanti both to get us tours and experiences we wanted. Ether was always pleasant to chat with while getting out custom omelets! The staff made the stay so much more enjoyable. The rooms also clean and room service daily was an unexpected and thoroughly enjoyable perk to our stay. Great water pressure and temp and beds were comfortable. Only complaint about facility would be to add A/C in hallways and common areas, add large fans in dining area to help make things more comfortable. The locals are used to the humidity, but that was the hardest for me to tolerate during the stay. Otherwise great experience!
