"A beach house from another era, right on the beach. cool snorkeling (though sometimes lower visibility) right outside the house—almost ran into a big beautiful turtle as we came over somelava—also very close to guided trips that can take you to very beautiful and more clear spots off shore (we enjoyed our Liquid Hawaii trip). Property management firm that handles the rental is professional and helpful and gracious. The church next door is low key—even on Sunday—and the beach is too. You’ll benefit from some water shoes here and other places in this area because of lava rocks. "

"This home was perfect for our family vacation! The house was very nice new and clean, beds were comfortable, tons of space for my family of 6. We spent lots of time at the pool/patio just enjoying the lovely view of the ocean, watching the birds or the many stars. We explored the trails/nearby tide pools and saw sea turtles and whale spouts. Lots of activities to do close by and not too far for restaurants/shopping yet we still felt away from the crowds with peace and privacy. Management was excellent to work with and everyone we met was very friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to come back!"
