Robbed by the staff
Well the first impression was good but then after the cockroaches started coming out it was a little discouraging but I was ok with that the view was amazing and the construction was going on 24-7 even on Xmas eve but that’s not the worst getting my car broken into and lots of personal items taken was a real bummer and It just happened to be that the cameras didn’t work in that area because of the construction and management did nothing about it but just gave me this oh well and I’m in a Volvo semi alarm had to go off and they did it when I went walking to the beach it was done by the employees I’ve stayed all over the place and never been robbed by employees usually it’s the locals so I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying here with all the construction debris loose balcony rails and missing tiles that you can stub your toes on I wouldn’t recommend this place ide go somewhere else not kid friendly at all no Covid safe practices either

I'll be honest. It's under construction. But the rooms are clean and sheets fresh and the view is a multimillion dollar view. When you want South Pacific type water.. it's here. There is a stone built natural tide pool on the beach. The swimming pool is very clean and nice. There is cable TV, WiFI is strong in lobby but not so much in the room. If you can stand limited construction noise then this is a deal for the price. I love it. Shopping and food closeby in seaside village Boca de Tomatlan.

***DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTE*** the hotel is under construction. The pictures are nothing like what the hotel looks like . They literally put up boards at night to keep random people from walking in the property as it has no walls (looks like it’s being de gutted. Expedia should take down their listing !!!

they messed up my reservation room was not ready had to stay in vp suite for night. it had roach big as my hand not cl eaned. mold everywhere.. Got better room next day. They did not speak English . took 4 days to be told had to leave key to get room cleaned. Had to ask for clean towels toilet paper. Water out alot lot times no hot water and air electric out 1 day. veiw was great

Sixties vibe in a modern setting.
First room smelled so bad that it was uninhabitable. Moved to the Jimi Hendrix Suite which was much better. This must have been an incredible hotel back in the 60's/70's which has been allowed to rot in situ. Staff were well-meaning and helped as much as possible. The tide pool was amazing, I can just imagine Jimi and Janis chilling in the hot tub.

The Hotel claimed not to have oir reservation on their computer when we arrived. The were sold lit and after driving 16 hours we had no room. Expedia did nothing to help us.

Great view, but had nothing else
The view From the balcony was magnificent. My suite kitchen had a sink and one glass. The sink outside the bathroom leaked all night onto the tile floor. The bathroom drain smelled like sewer. I had to keep the door closed. There were very big piles of dirty laundry in the hallways, The wifi only worked in the lobby and parking lot. The staff were really nice. The hotel is far from Puerto Vallarta.

This property doesn’t have bilingual staff as they advertise which is the latest of the problem place was disgusting linen was left outside our room and this was after arriving after checking and room not being ready to begin with room still had food left on counter and in the refrigerator sheets had stains on them reported to staff with no results no towels were left and stayed one full night left in the middle of the night with my child the second night due to a huge bug found in the bed with us manager still refuses to give a refund for nights I didn’t use even though it is clearly stated I am owed a refund in their refund policy DON’T STAY HERE unless you want to be ripped off

OK for a night
This hotel is OK if you want to spend 1-2 nights while exploring the Mismaloya/Boca/zoo/garden area. Based on other reviews, we were a little reluctant to stay here - but the price was very low and figured we could go back to PV for the night if we didnt like it. The room itself was large, freshly painted, clean, and had a great ocean view from inside and from the large private balcony. The elevator and air conditioner worked. The bed was hard, no TV nor fridge, and the bathroom drains had odor - but OK for a night or 2. Wifi worked in the lobby but not the room. The property is a bit run down from its glory days, but the pool was clean albeit shallow. No restaurant on the property but there is an elegant restaurant, Le Kliff, a 100m walk to the south. The city bus stops right in front of the hotel, so you dont need a car/cab to stay here. Basic, low cost no frills bed for a night.
