Well, This ain’t gonna be good…
We booked our stay in July of 2023 for a stay in February 2024, our first ever venture to North Carolina. We were told we could arrive after 5pm, and use a code to get the key fob out of a lockbox.
We arrived to the property via Uber around 6pm, still without a code to get into the lockbox. There wasn’t even a lock box for the property, as promised. We tried multiple times to contact the host to no avail. We were in the cold with dying phones for over 2 hours with no resolve. We spent a total of 4 hours dealing with Customer Service, who could also not reach the host.
Luckily, Customer Service rep Laura was able to escalate our case and we eventually got refunded for the stay, but had to spend twice as much to get a hotel for our 4 night stay. I do not recommend using this host unless you want to be stranded 600 miles away from home and spend twice what you planned.
