I didn't like how front desk employees though they were making you a favor by staying in their hotel. Most of them they wouldn’t acknowledge you and were rude. I think they need to have better customer service.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. All requests we had were turned down. Apparently, Netflix are not allowed in hotels but when we connected to our own wifi, it worked. There was a hair in the vent of our shower which is disgusting. The key cards always goes broken and the solution provided, is for us to stop to concierge everytime we go in and out of the property. VIP from Expedia felt like it was useless either. For the third time now, booking to a vip hotel did not end up in an upgrade. It ruined our vacation because our room is facing a wall. It was so bad. Terrible experience from Expedia vip program and the hotel.

Hotel on the beach, decent pool and breakfast was ok. Staff very helpful and rooms a decent size. Aircon didn't really work very well, asked that it be checked,no one came. No VIP extras.

Awesome hotel
It was a great stay. Comfortable room, clean, ac worked great, service was phenomenal. Mayra was very attentive. The pool was clean and nice. The rooftop views are beautiful. They allowed us early checkin and late checkout which was great. Breakfast was excellent with lots of fruits, made to order omeletes and tapioca, pastries, yogurts, juices, etc. Location was perfect for us and we felt safe staying in Copacabana. Restaurants, market and drugstores nearby. I did Uber the whole time. Had no issues and loved visiting Rio. Ps. I am Brazilian but was visiting from the US.

No microwave in the building at all. Can’t use any light unless your room key is in a slot on the wall. I also stayed with a friend and she had personal property stolen that’s what made me give a negative review.

The property was very nice. The people were great. The room was averaged sized. My only complaint is that although I am a VIP with expedia I did not receive a room upgrade. My view outdoors was of nothing.

When I asked about availability for an upgrade, and noted I was an Expedia Gold member, I was told I needed to pay for any upgrades. Then we did and our floor smelled like mold. After 2 nights, the wall right outside our room was opened up and covered in mold. The room was made up every day but the floors were never cleaned. Being at the beach, there was a lot of sand. Fine stay, expected more.

As a solo traveler, I initially felt a bit apprehensive about staying at this hotel, but my experience turned out to be wonderful, and I would highly recommend it to anyone, especially other solo travelers. The staff was exceptionally kind and welcoming, making me feel safe and comfortable throughout my stay. Although I had the unfortunate experience of having my phone stolen at the beach, the staff went above and beyond to assist me, providing clear guidance on the steps to take. The food was truly delicious, with the breakfast buffet being a standout feature. While the pool is on the smaller side, it doesn’t detract from the overall experience. All in all, I’d give this hotel a solid 9 out of 10.
