Not A Good Choice for Rome Airport Hotel
The guest room was filthy. Black mold growing on the wall next to the primary bed and the wallcovering peeling off of the wall. Mold in shower. King-sized bed and twin bed in a room not large enough to accommodate both. Restaurant on site was reasonably priced and served a good menu.

The shuttle staff was excellent. They were accommodating to guests who did not pre book transportation to the airport and at 7am were able to call an additional driver to ensure everyone made it there on time

Hotel is conveniently located near the airport, stayed here for a night before our early flight home. Clean and nice staff, only draw back is not many eating options within walking distance.

An excellent well-run hotel with very competent staff. Had trouble at the airport finding the Best Western 'bus' to the hotel. Received a quick picture on the phone of the location areas of the bus , but the message disappeared after a few seconds. Hopefully this hotel could improve communication concerning the buses to the hotel with clients very unfamiliar with Fiumicino airport .

The room was generally clean except for the curtains which were covered in greasy stains. Really off-putting. The shower is treacherous - an odd corner door with a big step down to slippery tile with no hand rail. The cost of the hotel shuttle for 2 people is comparable to a cab and less convenient. The one positive was the restaurant; the food was good as was the service.

The reception area was new, clean and open; a good first impression. We were allowed into our room early without an upcharge, again a good first impression. Then it went downhill from there, we were definitely in an older building and were never sure if it was going to be renovated or torn down. The bathroom had been renovated with new facilities but the walls hadn’t been touched, the walls in the bedroom were dirty and had very old wallpaper. The pool area was inviting as was the pool except for the fact that it wasn’t heated. They had a continental breakfast available starting at 7am at which time we had already left. We did not have dinner there as it did not open until 7pm and we needed to have a late lunch and an early night. Walking in the area was sketchy to say the least; not suitable for anyone with any sort if disability. Restaurants were supposed to be available within a 10 minute walk; it was at least 25 minutes before we found a lovely seafood restaurant, saw nothing else in the area. The two things which I found very unsettling was the condition of the elevator, I was never sure if it would get us to where we wanted to go-up or down! The other was the fact that we were given the impression that the transfer from the airport was gratis and we had to pay for the return journey. Imagine my shock when we were given a bill for €38.00! That was return trips for two plus taxes. Did not meet my expectations in any area.

Pros- It is VERY close to the airport, English speaking staff. Cons- Room was absolutely freezing, they set the temperature to 18C! (64F for you Americans). That is insanely cold. Then when I attempted to raise it, only cold air would blow no matter how hot I set it. Restaurant was "ok", again, convenience only. Having just been all around Italy in various regions, it was sub-par at best. This property is -directly- in front of one of the runways at FCO. So it is LOUD even during the middle of the night. If you are a light sleeper this is not the place for you. Low flying jets taking off is a thing here.
