"The room was lovely superior room. Would have liked to havecseen a fridge with fesh milk in a superior room. Iron and ironing board in wardrobe would have been a nicer touch than the hassle of asking for one. The best fact about our stay was the quality of service. All staff were great but no better than the restaurant staff including David. Excellent service. Couldnt do enough.TY"

"Lovely stay on New Year’s Day after working the whole of Christmas. Staff were friendly and professional. Room was lovely and spacious with a comfortable bed and powerful shower. Informative booklet about the winery behind the pub in rooms with useful information about local walks etc. no problems at all "

"Loved our stay at The Gallivant and would definitely visit again! Due to the location of the hotel I think this is definitely more of a seasonal hotel, however this didn’t impact my opinion of it, the service was great, room was lovely and the food (both breakfast and dinner) was incredible! My only complaint is that they don’t have tea/coffee making facilities in the room, we were told that we could go to the bar for these however, they charge for them on your bill at the end of the stay which I think is very out of the norm!"
