Amazing hotel.. the room was perfect for our family .. there is nice garden in the hotel .. the hotel is 1 minute walking from the bus station.. the staff is friendly.

I did not like that the check-in was all via a screen outside the main door in the cold weather with no human involved. This was especially cumbersome bc we had to go thru their process with 2 rooms. On a positive note, I would recommend buying the Salzburg card from the front desk— well worth the p euros. Ask about their restaurant. I didn’t even know they had one until our last day—another reason that a reception desk is needed rather than a screen check in. By exploring, we found laundry in the basement. However, there is no warning that if you don’t get your clothes out of the washer in time upon completion, the washer locks and you have to start over! Beds were comfortable. Appreciated that the toilet was in a separate room from the sink and shower. Bus stop was right in front of the hotel. But it is not always the same bus coming back so be careful you get on the right one. Very safe neighborhood to walk in. Parking was underground for 20 euros per night. Shower was hot with consistent pressure. Small fridge in room.

Pros: clean, fairly comfortable Cons: out of the way from sites, no breakfast included, food a la carte pretty bad (don’t order the pizza), if you come on public transit you’ll have to walk many blocks dragging your suitcase over rocky streets.

Decent hotel near bus lines to Altstadt, etc. like other hotels, they decide to turn off AC when they feel like it. If your room is too hot, too bad. Open the window they say even if the street is noisy. Otherwise now a bad place. They have a washer dryer in the basement. Breakfast was pretty good.

Great Hotel
Hotel stay was great. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. It was convenient to catch the bus to the town center. Having the ability to wash/dry our laundry was a plus and cost effective.
