We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We stayed for 4 nights. We had a rental car and they offer valet parking for a fee. Location was very convenient to walk to all the cool sights in old city. Basically right across from mirabell gardens. They offer a 5 euro discount if you don’t get room service every day. Staff was always very polite and accommodating. The 6th floor bar/restaurant was awesome. The view of the city I is unmatched. Pricing for the main meals was in line with what the city had to offer. Our only gripe was the pricing for the buffet breakfast. It was 30euro per day per person. The variety and size of the buffet was absurdly small for the price. Many hotels we have stayed at in Germany/austria offer a far larger breakfast buffet for less or included in the room cost.

The hotel itself was great. However in the night there was some music from the streets. Not sure if it was due to the weekend. Also the room was warm and we had to open 2 windows. The AC was non functional

It’s on the other side of the river where the older section is where most of the restaurants and shopping is but it’s only about a 15 minute walk. It is very close to the famous park with the fountain and gardens where Sound of Music scenes were filmed. It’s also a short walk to the booth to book various tours. The hotel has a beautiful rooftop restaurant and bar with a view of the city. There is also a basement restaurant with great traditional food in large portions. It’s worth the extra few minutes of walking to get to the other side of the river.

The service is excellent and people are super honest and friendly. I forgot my purse in the roof top bar . They contacted front desk immediately to ensure they to catch me while I took elevator down . I also forgot my thermos bottle while I checked out. I was able to contact them and have it to be shipped it to me. The bed is super comfortable and room is lovely. We had very wonderful beautiful time there
