All was superb until 10:30 pm, when the new guests on the room above us checked in/arrived. Children running stomping and yelling into the wee hours. Just to wake us up again at 7 am. They didnt seemed to be supervised, maybe lack of. Just a suggestion, please put family with children on bottom rooms.

Great Location
Quick overnight trip to San Marcos to visit our niece, and the LakeHouse was the perfect location for a relaxing overnight stay. We plan on returning for a longer visit this Fall.

The property itself was very good, the amenities were very well maintained at a great location and the staff friendly. However, we had bedbugs in our room and I woke up to multiple clusters of bites on my legs. I would have expected a resort property this well maintained to have been clean and bug-free.

You can hear the people on the second floor walking. Every step they take, you can hear downstairs. The people up front could be a bit more friendlier. Other than that, it was a nice stay.

Room was on the lake beautiful view from back window. Upon entering there were bug guts on the wall. Once in the room, room had an odor and live bugs on the ceiling, by each of the doors and on the walls. The hotel stated lake bugs, offered for someone to come clean/remove the bugs. I asked for a diff room. They did not have one available for several hours. I canceled the reservation.
