Wonderful Stay and Views
Excellent service, we accepted offer to upgrade to a junior suite for a redouble fee and it was an excellent choice. It was very clean and spacious with amazing views from three windows right across the canal from the St Lucia Train station. Nice spread of breakfast and different types of coffee to indulge included in the room rate. We only stayed one night in Venice after our RC Cruise but this place was a wonderful refuge and great place to end our trip! We shall be back in Venice!

Staff was exceptional. You can tell the hotel put a lot of emphasis on catering to their guests. Breakfast was really good too. Rooms had very good quality materials. Marble and granite, etc. my main concern was that you could smell the odor from the previous guest. Hot sweat. Pretty nasty. The sheets and everything were clean. It must have soaked into the mattress. I’m not sure how the staff would fix this. Small rooms but quaint. Great shower.

Its an old very quaint hotel, the ac works which isn't always the case in older buildings in Italy. Staff is amazing! Very walkable location the water taxi is across the Grand hotel, its a lil walk over the bridge but doable. Would stat there again highly recommend!

The location was perfect. close to the Rail Road Station, right on the Grand canal. The amenities were awesome, the breakfast was very good, tasty, abundant and big. The staff was tremendous and the room perfect. Stay here if you can since the ambiance was amazing. We are going back in December and already made reservations. They are so good. The price was perfect.

You can’t ask for more convenient location than where this nice hotel is located- right across the canal from the train station and water taxi. Our corner room is with high ceiling and beautiful canal views; the property has beautiful historic charms; breakfast buffet has nice selection and the service was also superb; having breakfast and enjoying nice scenery is a perfect note to have our day started. Staff are all very courteous and extremely helpful. We will choose this hotel again when we are back to Venice again.
