It was amazing. From day one the welcoming, the view of our beautiful room. The rooftop pool and bar. Everyone was courteous. I will recommend it.

The location of the hotel is in the business area, but it was great for us to be able to walk to malls and shopping areas near by as well as lots of dining options. The staff were incredible, especially the Manager, Nic. He was able to get us an early check-in and a bottle of wine as we were celebrating our honeymoon. The pool and sauna as part of the spa was very lovely. The service at the rooftop bar was a bit slow and it took a while to get someone's attention when we needed it, but it was a great vibe.

We stayed at the Icon for 3 nights when we arrived in Santiago. Was refreshing to stay in a modern hotel compared to others we had stayed at during our time in Peru and Chile. Nice to have pool area but it was very small. Breakfast was good.

Staff that received me was extremely rude when I asked why they charge for an OBLIGATORY deposit fee when I never had other hotels charging me for it unless o wanted them to have a registers card in card in case of additional services within the hotel. I said no, I wasn’t cool with it because they withhold $50 per each day I am on the hotel, that’s taking needed credit from my CC and I had already paid for the hotel reservation in advanced, they gave me no choice or solution. His reply was” it’s a hotel policy, we can’t do anything about, you can go on and telling me not to agree with the fee and nothing is going to change” BEWARE HIDDEN FEES I had to do what they said - so beware that you will need to have enough money or credit to go to this place so they put a credit hold on your card $50 for each day you are staying there. Unfortunately I have an 8 reservation paid for so that $400 I had to set aside for their security deposit. NICE ROOFTOP but very EXPENSIVE and again VERY BAD SERVICE besides that the place is very nice and it has a very good top roof but is very expensive and the service is very bad. I sad in a table an waited for about 20 mins and nobody came to provide service so I left. THE GOOD Some people are actually nice and helpful not all own the staff is bad and they have nice areas to enjoy a drink. Very good for pictures and is situated in a very nice location in Santiago.

Terrible check in, made to pay the lo so tax and I don’t live in chile. I left my PDI form behind. I travel to chile a lot normally hotels understand if you don’t have your PDI papare with you. It’s the first time I’ve been charged for not having my lapsed in about 20 plus circumstances. The guy at the desk was ride about it also. TV wouldn’t work properly, the Chanel's kept breaking up, no sound, the elevators take forever. We were on the 4th floor so we used the stairs most the time. Breakfast was very overpriced.

We got a corner room with fantastic views of the city and the mountains. That was amazing. One in our party had birthday during the stay, and the reception staff surprised us with a bottle of champagne. That was very generous and a pleasant surprise.
