It's old, it's musty, it's a bit odd. You don't get a sense of the look of the cabin by the pictures at all. The bedrooms are so small that the beds are full size. Not a whole lot of room to put your belongings. My husband and I who are not large people by any means, were on top of each other while trying to sleep. It was so uncomfortable. The second bedroom which is on street level is about the same size. We didn't stay in that room. The full bathroom is on the street level of the cabin, so you are climbing stairs. There is a super small bathroom in the main floor bedroom, so that helped with all the stair climbing.I read all the reviews, most saying it was nice, close to downtown. That part is true, it is close, but the town isn't that big or far from the water. The porches are not relaxing. You walk off the street to a front porch a few steps down, enter the cabin to a full flight of stairs down again to the main floor areas and 2nd bedroom. The back porch off the kitchen is a table & 4 chairs, nothing really comfortable to sit at. The small stairs down to the grill are steep. The grilling area has no room to stand. There is not fire pit area, hot tub etc. Which for the price, should offer something. The cabin is located on a beautiful street with well maintained homes around it, with beautiful fire pit areas, parking, etc. This cabin you are parking on the street with a permit The cabin itself feels like it is being swallowed whole by vegetation. Not worth it at all.
