The staff was extremely friendly, and the hotel is in walking distance of just about everything you would want to see in the historic district. Take the one-day trolly tour and this will give you the layout of the district. Pick up is 3 minutes from hotel.

Fine location, some room servicing issues
First room we were assigned smelled of smoke, so we were moved to a perfectly fine room. The room overlooked a busy street used throughout the night, fortunately we are good sleepers. Third day our room was not serviced by housekeeping. Location is excellent.

When you look at the building from outside, you don't expect to see the modern side of it on the inside. In very good condition, clean, everything working as expected. Very friendly staff, easy parking, good breakfast and located very convenient for shopping, dining and site seeing. I will be back, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Savannah.
