We arrived on a very late flight from Brisbane which the hotel staff were aware of. We retrieved our key cards from the lock box and they didn’t work so we tried the after hours number. He was very rude and kept hanging up on us as we tried to explain that our cards didn’t work and we couldn’t access the hotel.
We were left standing outside in the cold with our two kids until a resident gave us access to the lobby to wait.
Two hours later a maintenance man came and we were able to get into our room which we found rather dusty and basic.
The next morning we went to reception and the reception supervisor was so flipping rude. He basically said there was nothing wrong with the key cards and was quick to secure a hold on our credit card while talking to every other person that entered Reception. Such terrible customer service!
The only saving grace was the friendly housekeeping ladies and the location.
We will definitely NOT be staying here again.
