Almost Magical
The amount of detail and care put into the creation of this property is incredible. The yurt was cosy and welcoming. The owners were so kind, telling us about their wonderful chickens and letting us try to pet them. Communication was immediate and very understanding and professional. The location was perfect for a golden circle road trip amd if there wasnt a fulloon, the colors of the Aurora would have been mind blowing. Loved everything about the stay (especially the breakfast that was packed so we could take some on the road for a later snack).

Cozy yurt
I stayed here for one night and it was perfect. I would have liked the bed to be thicker but its definitely not something to lower my score for. The yurt was beautifully arranged and the host was super friendly and helpful. I also wasn't sure what I'd think about having a bathroom that I had to walk to outside the yurt, but its just a few seconds and they did a great job making it nice

This place is a true gem!
We had an amazing experience and wished we could have stayed longer but we had early morning hiking plans so the host made us breakfast on the go, so sweet! Highly recommend a stay if you’re planning a trip to Iceland!

The most incredible Iceland stay!
We were blown away by the yurt and property in general at Rick and Jitka’s. They had everything set up incredibly- every detail was so thoughtful and useful and beautiful. Design and comfort were 10/10. The hosts themselves were so great to meet and talk to! They even let us know when the northern lights were visible so that we could see! It feels very private and the bathroom is awesome haha, don’t have one negative thing to say about the yurt experience. Only wish we’d have stayed longer! Thank you!!
