Unfortunately we only stayed here one night because of it's close proximity to LBJ Airport... but this little hotel/resort offers so much more. First, is the host/owner Viktor (who lives on the property with his family), who was warm, welcoming and informative about the amenities and history of the hotel (a former functioning mill). He told me about the walking path and trails in the rear of the property that meander through a garden, stream and eventually to a castle. Free bicycles were also offered, but it rained while I was there and never got to take advantage of it. My room was a ground floor studio; clean, large and fully equipped kitchen with a patio and outside table overlooking the large yard and stream, with mountains in the background. The bathroom included every you may have forgotten, including Q-tips! If you're ever in the area, whether coming or going to LBJ, you should consider staying here a couple/few days.
