L7 Myeongdong is one of the better hotels I have stayed. Indeed 4* as stated. Clean room and very friendly staff (receptionists and the staff at level 1 lobby will greet you with smiles every time. Safety is ensued with staff there). It is conveniently located just in front of Myeongdong station exit 9 & many good eateries nearby. Love it that it’s at the outskirt of Myeongdong night shopping street so it’s not noisy. I am going to try other L7 hotels with this good experience. Two areas to improve are to install hooks in the shower area. I do wish that the laundry machines function as both washer and dryer (just like Japan’s) as I have to come down separately 2 times. Thank you.

The hotel is situated very close to the Myeondong metro station, which is the meeting point for many organized touristic activities. The hotel was always very clean and the staff were friendly and respectful. I would gladly use this hotel for a future vacation in Seoul.

Fantastic Hotel
It was amazing. Convenient and safe location. Staff are friendly, efficient and can speak fluent English for easy communication. My son forgot about his Nintendo switch left in the safe box. We checked out and left our luggages in the concierge and went out. When we returned for our luggages, the hotel must have found the Nintendo switch in the safe box and returned it to us. It was packaged very nicely in a paper bag too. Very thankful and grateful for this. Highly recommended hotel. Thank you!

This is my second trip to Korea, and this hotel was in the perfect location. Its right in the heart of the downtown Myeongdong shopping area and where all of the food stalls are at night. There are tons of pharmacies, restaurants and convenience stores right nearby and it is half a block from where the Incheon Airport Limousine Bus picks up, saving money on your airport run. There is a small gym in the building (only 2 treadmills and some small weights), and a scale near the front desk so you can check your luggage weight. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Whenever I return to Myeongdong I will absolutely be staying here.

My husband and I had an enjoyable stay at the L7. We liked the room lay-out, the cleanliness, the toiletries (Malin and Goetz!), the complimentary bottles of water everyday and of course, its central location (close to a metro station and the shops and restaurants are right on its doorstep). We only have one suggestion-can the breakfast coupons be given at check-in time? It would be more convenient this way for the guests. They can just go straight to the restaurant from their room for breakfast.

Great place to stay!
Very comfortable and clean! Great location for being new to Seoul and convenient for airport transport / metro/ buses. Central part of town so easy to visit many neighborhoods. Side street area has lot of dining, shopping, and coffee. We loved having a laundry option as well in the building!!!!!

The room we booked was bigger than expected - if you are not travelling as a couple be sure to request for a room with a private bathroom. The first room given to us had an open one but we were able to easily request a change. The area was fantastic, and right by a train exit which made travelling in and out of Myeondong very convenient. The hotel is located on the main street, just off the busy streets of Myeongdong, so we were able to go back to a quiet area. The room was very clean and well maintained, although the bathroom could have had better ventilation. We did feel that by the end of a 1 week stay the bathroom did smell a little stale. The toilet bowl is heated (which is a plus for winter), with a bidet. Staff and service was excellent and prompt - we'd requested for additional pillows, to fix our TV and to arrange for airport transfer back.
