This was our second stay at the Knot in less than a year and our experience with staff this time was poor. While the staff did apologise after I had escalated the matter - however if you are looking for a place with any expectation of customer service then please look for other options.

The hotel and restaurant staff was courteous and knowledgeable. The location afforded access to the shopping and transportation centers. The restaurant bar was cozy and elegant. We made good use of the clothes washing facilities while we were there. I would certainly stay here again.

The hotel is easily accessible by subway, or by taxi from Shinjuku station. Had food options and laundry service available. Staff helped us with luggage forwarding for 11 pieces of luggages. We enjoyed our stay here.

The interior is really nice, clean modern style especially the lobby area, very welcoming. The rooms were nice too but it was crapped but I think that is to be expected in most hotels here. All the appliances worked great and had conveniently placed things like washing machines and vending machines around. The area around is walking distance to shinjuku but there also subways near by. The park around is it is super pretty but at night it’s a bit scary lol. There is some restaurants near by but most of them are closer to the Main Street.

They force you to use these weird machines in order to check in. on top of that, there are no key cards. you must memorize a password to your room. meaning anyone can get in the elevator and access the rest of the hotel. which is not safe. on top of that, they don’t clean the room. you have to physically go down to the front desk, and ASK them to clean your room. excuse me??? I’m paying 200 dollars a night and i have to ask you to clean my room? THIS IS A HOTEL. Awful hotel, genuinely will never stay here ever again.

Highly recommend.
This is a really wonderful hotel and great value in Tokyo. There’s a terrific bakery downstairs where you can get a cheap breakfast so you don’t need to buy their buffet breakfast for $30. Coin-operated laundry on site means you can do your washing which is grea. The room is Spacious and clean and tidy They don’t clean it every day, only every three days unless you ask for it but they do change the towels. It’s close to the subway and the restaurant is really nice as well if you feel like western food. The concierge service tries to be helpful, but they didn’t really have any answers for us when we asked questions about , what to do or how to solve a problem. Staff couldn’t be nicer though.

Very nice hotel in a nice and quiet area. There is a park right in front. It’s not in a super busy area which can be good or bad based on your idea of fun. The rooms are nice and small as expected in Tokyo. I would not recommend taking the breakfast option in the hotel. We found it expensive for what is offered. There is a bakery attached to the hotel that has better and cheaper options but we were not told that when we checked in later in the night. Overall a good hotel but we would stay in a more lively area next time.
