The property is under construction. Trash cans in the public areas are overflowing. People loitering around the property and I saw some sleeping in their cars. I felt unsafe so slept with both bolts locked, and a self defense tool within short reach. I checked out immediately the next morning got a refund for the remaining nights. The good news is the property immediately refunded without questioning it.

First night and morning after, keys didn't work. Facility should be announced as a motel not a hotel because in my case, my husband is in a wheelchair and going to lobby from the back of the motel was very inconvenient. Many guests and homeless people made me feel unsafe. Some staff were very nice. Room was quite clean but need maintenance (example: shower and toilet)

The LaQuinta on Cerrillos Road in Santa Fe is conveniently located with easy access to I-25. It is right next door to the Flying Tortilla restaurant, one of my favorites.Across the parking lot is the Santa Fe Place mall, which added a Barnes & Noble with Starbuck's since I was last here a few years ago. The room was spacious and clean and reasonably quiet (I'm probably more sensitive to noise than most.) I will definitely stay here next time I'm in "The City Different".

Nice room for a great price, bed was comfortable. Internet service was hit and miss throughout the stay. Room was clean, but the chairs and sofa could use a good steam clean.
