Room was not good, we had no ac the whole time, called maintenance multiple times and they tried telling us it works fine. I own my own hvac company and they were lying to me. When calling for 21° and it doesn’t go down below 24.5° it does not work. He said turn fan on and that would help. Multiple calls made for this and no one cared or fixed it or changed rooms for us. Very disappointing, every night we could not sleep, the room are also very small and cramped for family of 4

We love HRHV and this was our 7th visit to this property. I was quite shocked at how different and unpleasant this visit was compared to all of our others including our visit prior which was just in April of 2024. Our room was in terrible condition. We have stayed in that exact room 3 other times and our 4th was a nightmare. The drawers on the dresser would not close. We called maintenance and no one would come. They kept rolling out and we would bang into them. We tried to tape them closed. Then our toilet stopped flushing...what a nightmare! We called and they said they were sending someone within 5-8 minutes and we needed to wait for them. 30 minutes later we called again. 20 minutes later we called again and said they had permission to come into our room, but that we had to leave then for a scheduled activity. We came back 4 hours later and it still wasn't fixed. My wife went to the front desk and the person said he saw all of our calls and that this was unacceptable. To go back to our room and someone would be right there. It took another 4 hours to get the issue resolved. It was miserable. The food quality has gone way done. The entertainment staff is all new and the activities were either boring or just outright cancelled. We didn't get any of our VIP benefits even when we asked. I am sad to say that I don't think we will be back. I also feel we deserve a refund for 1 night due to the maintenance issue, missing dinner, etc. They only offered a 25 minute massage.

This property was one of the worst I’ve ever stayed at. The rooms smelled. The hallways smelled. The floors were wet. Changed rooms and it was no better. Pool was filthy and dinner at Frida was flavorless. I ultimately could not stay the first night and had to leave the hotel.

I cannot believe this is a Hard Rock Property, the hotel needs an upgrade and fast, the rooms are old that the door on my dresser was hanging off the hinge and the room was dirty, after i complained they "so call" upgrading me to the exact room accept with a better dresser, this was all inclusive, what a joke!! they had no bottled waters in the room nor on the property, Hard Rock you need to upgrade, i plan on returning to vallarta in feb but will definitely stay elsewhere!

Kids club, Michael Jackson Show, Foam Party, Thanksgiving Beach Race, and Silent Disco were awesome! Overall the food was good. The service, especially the facilities and housekeeping, was TERRIBLE. Took 3 hours to get bedding for our sofa bed, 12 hours to get a blow dryer, and both of your rooms had water leaking from the ceilings in the bathroom. Not one call from a manager regarding the situation and our room floor was covered with towels for a day.

We stayed for four nights and loved almost everything. The staff all were very respectful and friendly. The food overall was above average. The breakfast options get repetitive after a few nights stay. One thing we did not like is every where was music at night and sounds of music get mixed at different parts of property. Nowhere to walk a baby who is sleeping or someone just wants to walk and relax at night. The shows were limited to rock and pop and could be more diverse for different types of people like showing traditional mexican dance in some nights.

Hotel is very old need lots of upgrades for in pool you can see mold also when you check in staff come ask you to sign in for Legend membership and they will never leave you alone I stayed three nights they asked three times to become a member. Staff is very good in the pool area also all the restaurant they deserve 5 stars. Spa massage is awesome very good professional service. When we checked out again promotional staff came and give you 20 minutes speech to buy your next vacation package. We were there for vacation to relax not get harassed. Yeh also we got stucked in elevator Alford several minutes because of malfunctioning. Overall we enjoyed our stay and also enjoyed beautiful sunset
