Location and price were great. You're right across the street from the beach and near restuarants and a nice little outdoor market. Staff were nuce and polite at check in. The room however was very damp and smelled very musty. Also,room wasn't very soundproof and it felt like the neighbours were in our room when they would stand outside to smoke. We only stayed for two nights and were rarely in the room, however on our last night we noticed the entire couch was filled with black mold. Admittedly, we were too tired to do anything about it and left early in the morning.

First property offered smelled musty… No problem taking another room which was ok..people sat around property which made me feel uncomfortable. Linen and towels clean in room but still slight odour and slight mould on ceiling….an ok stay at an ok price but would not return.

Stayed here for 2 days. Room was clean. Bed and pillows comfortable. AC worked good. The Pier was right across the street which was perfect to see the sunrise. Nice having a mini fridge and microwave in the room.

It was ok. The bed and bathroom were clean and bed was comfortable. There was some stains on the floor from where the ceiling has leaked recently. The exterior of the hotel is not super welcoming. The hotel room goes right to the outside and should have a double lock because of this but do not. Staff was very friendly. Lots of guests smoking right outside the doors (and staff too) so you have to walk through the smoke everywhere

In the middle of the night (around 3am) the smoke alarm went of in the entire building. The sound was so loud and piercing. I had my daughter with me and it scared her to death. There was no way to get away from it. I ran to the office and no one was there although the sign said the lobby was open 24/7 and no one was at the desk. The alarm continued to go off for about 10mins. While my daughter sat there and cried. We had to go sit in the car to try and drown it out. We didn’t know if the building was truly on fire and to pack up our things or what to do. Finally it went off. There was no communication or clarity given. No one came back to the front desk within 30mins. We tried to go back to bed but from the scare and the adrenaline I was never able. Finally my daughter went back to sleep around 5am. At 6am the alarm clock in the hotel room went off. It was also so loud and startling and I could not figure out how to turn it off. Each time a room is cleaned or prepared for a new stay, those should always be reset. I would never stay here again for the simple reason that I would never want to go through that again. The couch in the room was stained and gross looking. I would not sit on it without a sheet over the top but there were not extra sheets or blankets available in the room.

The staff was polite and very professional. Although the property was in St Augustine Beach and was visit right after two storms skirted the area, the property was clean and any minor damage cleared and neatly stacked.
