This was our second stay at Margaritaville. We feel the food at Landshark last year was better. The calamari was way overcooked and its replacement was not much better. The wings were tasty and cooked but not exactly hot to the touch. Wish they had a breakfast menu on sunday instead of a $25pp buffet, so the coffee shop on the property was busy. The rooms are spacious, then pools with bars are fun. We always meet fun people on St Thomas. The property feels safe and you can walk to Coki beach. Its not a far drive to Red Hook where you can hop a ferry to St John. Look forward to staying again in the future.

When I arrived at the property and inspected my room I found small white bugs in the crevasses. I was told by maintenance that they were ants and the only thing they could do is use bug spray or alcohol. To compensate for my inconvenience the manager told me I could only receive a 50 dollar voucher and would not be able to get a new room due to all units being booked. After sleeping in the bed with bedbugs and seeing roaches crawling around, I am truly distraught and disgusted. The staff was rude and overall I did not have a good experience after paying an abundance amount of money for a perfect getaway. A week later we are currently still itching from bug bites and had to throw all our belongings away in hopes of not infecting our home.

The bugs were out biting also the facility basically shuts down 9pm in my opinion on vacation that’s far too early also not really many things to do in property as well

Such a beautiful resort, staff everywhere were polite and amazing. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The food and accommodations were great. Golf carts everywhere to help you get around. The ONLY downfall was the seaweed on the beach stunk so bad you could taste it. No way to avoid or change that, they were trying so hard to clean it up maybe just the time of the year. But we loved the resort!!!

The front desk staff was excellent! They accommodated us by giving us a call at 12 to let us know the room was ready. Unfortunately the whole property smelled like rotten eggs due to the sargassum aka algae on the shoreline of the property. It was overpowering at times luckily Coki Beach was right over a small hill and saved us from the smell. The bar/restaurant closed at 10 pm which wasn’t so great considering everything is far and only reachable by taxi.

I really enjoyed my stay at this place! Just a heads-up: there’s no housekeeping or water provided in the room, so be sure to grab some before checking in. The property has only one café and one restaurant, which means dining options are a bit limited. However, you can easily take a taxi to a restaurant recommended by the front desk. Aside from that, I had an amazing time!

The horrible smell from the sargasm in the bay was nauseating. I wish this was disclosed when booking. I understand they can’t do anything about it but I have such a weak stomach and nearly lost it. The smell was overwhelming like rotten eggs. Otherwise the property was beautiful!
