Nice overall. staff were very lovely and attentive. I booked the comfy twin for my mother and I and it was very small, only one chair and very small not very comfortable in that aspect. The beds were very comfortable though.
Sadly the photos do not match the reality. The reception and foyer had been nicely renovated. But the rooms and corridors are old and in desperate need of some upgrading. TV didn’t work, plumbing was poor and no where for any storage or hanging clothes.
The team were very friendly however
Extremely comfortable bed and very modern room. What ruined the experience for me was that laundry services are with an external company and you can't do them yourself - it costs $28 and mine was not even taken to the laundry place (I took it down on Wednesday night to be done on Thursday, and come Thursday night they had not been taken over). WiFi was also horrendous, and needs to be updated as I have stayed in 2 star hotels with quicker internet speeds - some of my apps wouldn't load at all and so I had to use my data
Stay was great, staff helped with a minor issue right away. Rooms are teeny tiny but expected as per the description. Very functional for one person stay.

Great location, staff attentive, but property fitout is now showing alot of wear and tear - needs a refit
The location is fantastic but the management need to read the reviews of a lot of the guests because we had so many same experiences and it seems not much has improved.
I think I need therapy after using the bathroom for 4 nights. The toilet seat had stains all over it snd clearly needs replacing , the toilet roll holder was right by your leg so it was it was impossible to use the way. The shower design was atrocious and trying to get in and out was so stressful as you had barely any room to move. You can’t stand properly in front of the mirror because the shower glass is right there too.
We only had one power point on left side of the bed so if you were sleeping on the right side, you couldn’t have your devices with you while charging them.
The WiFi was terrible so reverted back to my own provider to use internet
Our room was given clean towels and sort of cleaned daily but we also made sure to leave the appropriate sign on the door when we were out. We didn’t have our rubbish (empty takeaway coffee cups) thrown out on day 1 so we had to put them in a spare plastic bag we had to use as a makeshift bin and they thankfully threw them out on day 2. The overall cleanliness of the room was very average. Stains in the sheets, walls and drapes never made you feel clean.
The lift wasn’t cleaned or wiped down around the buttons the entire 5 days we were there. Finger prints all over the panels and doors. I doubt I’d stay here again.
I picked this hotel for the walk ability. 8 minute walk to the train, right next to China town , 22 min walk to opera house . It was amazing . The hotel was average . But it was lovely for me .
I did have a stain on the underside of my comforter . And they don’t do full room services on Sundays. Which I wasn’t aware of .
However I normally clean all the surfaces when I first make it to a hotel room and not a speck of dirt came off so well done.
Natalia made my stay wonderful . She greeted me nicely and remembered me . She let me check out at 12 and she gave me a map to help me.
Do close to Central station easy 5 minute walk.
Staff are exceptional and the hotel wonderfully quirky. I have stayed many times every time fabulous

Excellent location but room service leaves much to be desired. Sheets were changed inconsistently everyday with mattresses showing bloodstains. Reception was very nice and were quick to rectify the issue but … still.
