" I wanted to warn everyone that what you see in the photos might not be a correct information. I booked 2 nights stay for New Year’s Eve and Jan 1. I booked lakeshore view family room, included in this particular room was a photo of kitchenette and I was expecting that we are able to use it since that’s a priority and necessary for New Years eve as we will cook and reheat whatever food we have for NYE. To my surprise, they wont let us use the induction cooker. So unreasonable they told us that the unit owner wont allow it, then why post the kitchenette photo if it’s not allowed to use? There was no indication that it is NOT allowed to cook prior my booking confirmation, we were only told when we were preparing for NYE dinner. It actually spoiled our night and the New Year. It’s crazy. ANd this reservation was prepaid. The fridge won’t close completely. Wifi was weak. The AC was leaking water. I will not book to this hotel again, although the view is nice.. but everything else is not okay for me. Please be specific in your info that some rooms are under UNIT OWNERS. And that they are not allowing to cook using the kitchenette!!! I will definitely escalate my experience to any supervisor in hotels.com"

"This place is perfect. Relaxing and customer service is fantastic. Struggled with the food choices. Its not the best tasting and because its very secluded and there are no other restaurants in the area its really hard to find food choices. Basically lived on french fries as that is the only thing that interest me. But the facilities and how awesome this hotel surpasses the food problem we had. I would definitely go back to this hotel. Probably one of my favourite hotel. "

"This is my second time staying here, but I'm sad to say that the rooms I got this time were a little dated and smelled like mold (both of them). I booked two rooms, and the other room had a working aircon, but unable to turn off or adjust settings. I even bought new batteries for the remote. SMCO representative was nice and helpful, but I felt weird leaving the room keys in a locker with NO LOCK. what if someone stole the keys and cleared out the room? Will I be responsible for that? Representative assured me it's safe. She even told me about the paid parking, which was ₱350 a day. That was perfect and convenient! I wasn't aware about that on my first trip and parking was pretty far. Location was good, with a few restaurants and a small mall within walking distance, but I suggest renting a car or taking a Grab if traveling with elderly. Mornings were the best with many people to join in your morning walk. Ambiance and cooler temperatures were awesome! You also feel a sense of safety throughout most of the property. In spite of the mold in the rooms and the fact that it felt dated, I will still give it another chance and hope my next stay here will be better. Location and the big, open park to walk in is what I enjoy they most. I would still recommend this place to anyone looking for an inexpensive and enjoyable experience. "
