"We recently had a long-awaited family holiday, staying for two nights. Overall, the experience was okay. We enjoyed dinners at the hotel’s two restaurants and spent time at the spa. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the location is excellent. The spa itself is one of the best in Finland, with impressive facilities and a great atmosphere. However, it seemed the hotel was at full capacity, and the staff was unprepared for it. The queue at reception stretched outside, and I had to wait 30 minutes to check in. Also, filling in paper check-in cards seems like last century! :) Additionally, Hotels.com made a mistake with our reservation by forgetting to include spa access. Thankfully, the hotel staff handled the issue quickly and professionally - big thanks for that! The spa was overcrowded, making it impossible to move in the water. Breakfast on Saturday morning was also chaotic, with not enough tables and many left uncleared. We had to find and clean a table ourselves. The hotel overall feels old and in need of renovation, particularly the bathrooms. On top of that, our room was not cleaned properly, as we found someone else’s food and drinks in the minibar."

"This was our second stay at the hotel. As expected, it was very comfortable. The staff are friendly. We didn't face any issue. Location is great. Close to public transport. Iso Christina Mall is at walkable distance. Very close to Lake Saima."

"Unwelcoming staff, who did not direct us to our hidden room. Staff don't want to speak English even though they work in a hotel. Only 2/6 saunas were open. No saunas were available where I could share with my partner. No adult only area. Do not go if you are looking for a relaxing break with your partner like we were. Decent breakfast. "

"We came from the US to visit a family member, this is our 2nd year in a row staying here and we love it. The price is amazing for what you get, we stayed in the Villas and the apartment was very nice. The staff have always been so nice and the area is just beautiful. The Imatran Koski is a definite must see! We are at O’Learys and had the same waiter both trips, and he was amazing. Very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu, made us feel very welcome and the food was really good. We will definitely stay here for future visits. "

"Conveniently located, pleasant and helpful reception staff. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss. Bedrooms don't seem to be made up nowadays, coffees etc not replenished so overall a high price for little more than an AirBNB."
