THE NEIGHBORHOOD
The apartment is located in the historical and unique neighborhood of Tel Aviv called Neve Tzedek. Neve Tzedek is well know for being the first Jewish neighborhood built outside the wall of the ancient port of Jaffa.
This neighborhood is famous for its unique and authentic architecture. It is minutes away from the beach and Jaffa's Clock square.
The main street of this neighborhood is called Shabazi, where the apartment is located! There are boutiques, shops, cafes & restaurants all around. The Carmel Market is a short walk away and the Tachana (the old train station) recently renovated to host shops, boutiques and restaurants is down the street.
GETTING AROUND
You can do everything on foot or rent a city bicycle from a nearby station. There are countless buses running from the Carmelit terminal which will take you about anywhere in Tel Aviv and around. If you plan on using buses or trains, you'll need to purchase a RavKav card (available at the airport or in the train stations) and load some money on it using the RavKav app on your phone.
Lastly we recommend using the app Gett to order taxis when needed.
