We were in the older section I am guessing. The room was very out of date and did not look like the photos. Holes in wall were not patched, peeling paint. We had no WiFi that they claimed we did and had to call for assistance to get our tv to even work (they did help). Breakfast had no drinks options except coffee. Very minimal; glad we didn’t pay much but I already cancelled an upcoming trip there with a friend.

We were quickly greeted by the super friendly receptionist who got us checked in and provided us with information about the facility. Our room was neat, clean and had plenty of space to relax in. GREAT price compared to other area hotels. The Cedar Inn will be our go to from now on.

The rooms are very clean and the staff friendly and efficient . However the bed and the pillows are not comfortable at all . One of the beds ( the 2 double room) was caved in. 2 ppl could not sleep in it . The water in the tub barely drained . Also the breakfast is minimal.

The room expedia room picture did not look like the actual room that was booked. There are TWO buildings - a new one and an OLD one. Don't get a room in the old one.

Lobby open 24 hours. Room was fine for us, needed a place to sleep and have a bathroom. Bed was good, extra pillows if needed, shower good temp and clean, nice soaps. Staff friendly. Good experience for price and age of facility; some bad reviews seemed a bit harsh and expecting. We stayed in updated side, which was comfy and simple. Suggest add blackout curtains under the fashion ones for improvement and extra towels...but we did not need them. Wife said hot tub was good. We don't ever expect great continental breakfast, so we're satisfied with egg, coffee and hot chocolate.

Our family has enjoyed Cedar Motor Inn for 15 years. We love the small of the wood paneling and the pool. Its always one of the cheapest options in Marquette and yet it gives us everything we need.
