"My brother, sister-in-law and I came to Rocky Mount for a concert at The Harvester. We loved Rocky Mount! This place was conveniently located to Rocky Mount. It was nice to sit on the porch and watch the boats, and we had a great breakfast at the Marina. We would stay here again!"

"It was a great welcome and there were fresh cookies which made reception area smell lovely. Lobby and dining room had been refurbished. Rooms were in good condition and everything looked clean. Only gripe was that the floors creaked so we could hear the guests upstairs. We had a bite in the restaurant which had a small but adequate menu and a good bar. Breakfast was great. Bar and restaurant staff friendly and efficient. We'd stay again"

"A cozy place right on the Smith Mountain Lake. Well stocked and easy access. Amazing views and very peaceful. Close proximity to hiking spots and not far from Lynchburg and Roanoke. We hope to be back."

"The check-in person (wish I could remember his name!!) and Mary in the breakfast area were excellent! So friendly and personable! Our room was not all that clean, but I wonder if it’s just that everything is old. The kitchen Cora chair was stained and nasty! I would recommend that it be discarded. The lobby was bright and clean, though. Perhaps renovations are going on? I would hope so. We will stay again, but this hotel is not up to the standards we usually see from Hampton Inn."
