"I chose the Residence Inn as I knew it was on the Quays so close to MacCurtain Street and places like Sin é. The Opera House, English Market, Washington Street and Oliver Plunkett Street are all short walks across the river too. The hotel was clean and well presented, staff always had a smile and a greeting each time I passed and breakfast was functional with coffee on tap. (The AC was just as handy as the central location as it was cold and wet while I was there but that didn't dampen my break and a chance to catch up with friends.)"
