It was a very nice place, i had a welcome message on a chalkboard and they offer free bicycles to get around the area. Close to a lot of sights and a short walk to the river and night markets. A good place to stay.
We thought that the service at the hotel was great, really nice people (and a friendly cat!), very welcoming, and the area is perfect for exploring Vientiane. However, the rooms are very small and the bathrooms smaller, beds not very comfortable, air conditioning did not work well. So, recommend with some reservations.
The staff member working here was very kind, helpful and relaxed. The room wasn't very big and the bathroom smelled a bit moldy (I do know this is a common problem in a tropical climate like Laos). The bed was comfortable, however.

Clean room and good location
Staff was very helpful. Website said breakfast for 2 was included but no breakfast was provided. Need to update website. Walkway to room on second floor dark to burned out lights? Wifi very weak only one bar. Location is good.
I loved my little nook at Rm 403!
Put and Kuyi were great hosts explaining everything. Also, I appreciate the water dispenser rather than plastic bottles.
Keep it up!
SCAM. We booked a superior room but upon arrival were told this wouldn't be available for an hour as the plumbing was broken and being fixed. The second we checked in, they suddenly said "oh actually the plumbing is going to be broken for at least a day so you'll have to stay in another (inferior) room. This room was not adequate so we decided to leave immediately (without unpacking or anything) and go elsewhere. Staff told us we would receive a full refund but upon calling Expedia we were told staff said this was not the case. Shameless disrespect towards paying customers which is all the worse when compared to all other hotels we stayed in in Laos which were incredibly friendly and couldn't do enough to help you.
Located right next to airport shuttle bus stop A10. Look for a dark blue building. Staff were great. Breakfast was good too. Overall, no complaints for the price.
We enjoyed our stay at Moonlight Champa. Mr Ley was a very helpful host. he made sure we had everything we needed. Great location and The Airport Bus stops right near the hotel.
The hotel is located in a great area - near major attractions and the river. The staff were very helpful and had a lot of nice little touches to make your stay pleasant. Pro tip: if you are staying in this hotel, you can go to/from the airport in a bus and no need to take a cab. The hotel also provides free bicycle service to roam around. FCFS of course. The room itself is quite compact and sufficient for budget accommodation. My only quibble is the internet. It is quite slow.
Overall , this guesthouse is good, but there were a crew of locals , played ball game until late-night just next door lol.....guesthouse location is nearby black tower . 10mins walk distance to backer area,10mins walk distance to central bus station

NO hot water shower
basically hot weather country, but night and morning was quite chilling BUT NO HOT water at all for shower.
Moonligth Champa is a charming small hotel with walkingdistance to most attractions otherwise just take a Tuktuk.Small rooms but they have all you need.No elevator.Good wifi. Helpful staff with mr.Ley in the front. He helped is with booking our transfer to Vang Vieng. I recommend this hotel would definitilly stay here If I'm coming back to Vientiane.
