"We stayed just one night prior to an early departure on the bus from Concord. It's convenient, clean, quiet and close to the bus station. The bar and restaurant are closed; we didn't know this until we arrived. Also, the signage is poor. There were signs for the restaurant, but it wasn't obvious which door was for the hotel. The staff was exceptionally friendly."

"I haven't always had the best luck with smaller independent hotel/motels. However, the reviews for the Newport Motel were really positive and as it turns out, accurate. I was greeted in a friendly manner and had all of my questions answered when I arrived. The room was large, comfortable, and incredibly clean. WiFi worked well, beds were comfortable, and the room was equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. It also had a large rack in the back area of the room that allowed us to store our bags off the floor. The property is right on the main road and less than ten minutes from Sunapee Mountain, making it an ideal place to stay if you're doing some skiing. I asked for some recommendations for dinner at check-in and those didn't disappoint. We had a great experience at the Salt Hill Pub right down the street. I really enjoyed my stay and will be back again for sure. Thank you Newport Motel!"
