Would like better parking options. However, what is available is adequate understanding the history and location. We always have had a great experience staying here. Live music and on location dining options are a plus. We will be returning to stay next time we aee in Albuquerque.

I love staying at properties with character, and El Vado is such a property. The design of the property is great and it's attached to interesting stores and great places to eat. The rooms are nice and the pool is inviting. The common spaces are very pleasant as well. The staff was friendly and accomodating. I would stay here again if I'm in Albuquerque and I would recommend El Vado for those looking for a fun place to stay.

I loved this cute little renovated Route 66 motel. They have a variety of cute eateries on site. The mattress was the most comfortable hotel mattress I’ve experienced. My only complaint is that the parking lot is small and shared with businesses and an apartment, so we had difficulty finding spot earlier in the day.

Clean facility and comfortable bed. Navigation lead us to the address behind the motel. Took a while to figure out where the office was. Also, the motel parking spots are marked compact, and we have a larger vehicle. Although some big vehicles were parked there. Otherwise, had to share parking lot with commercial property as well as apartments. The room was very small and for two people only had one chair but had room for another. It could have a small fridge and microwave if they didn’t have so many storage cabinets like a 4drawer dresser. Although the facility is reminiscent of a route 66 motel, the theme evidently is more for parties as the common area between the row of cabins is filled with a pavilion, swimming pool, etc. For the price paid, too many other choices in the area With much better accommodations even for an overnight stay for two people. Very disappointed.

I loved how this remodel was done and the front desk were so kind. I do really appreciate having a quiet room as I slept well. I have stayed at other remodeled Rt 66 hotels but this is actually nice and not just lipstick on a pig. It has beautiful architectural details. The sheets are crisp and they give you a real coffee mug for your in-room coffee. The mini split air conditioning is super cold and very quiet. The garden area around the pool is beautiful and fragrant. I just love how they make use of drought resistant plants in their garden.

Great location property looks very nice. Little things can be improved on like property up keep and pool wasn't cleaning during our 3 day stay. On site restaurants and little shop were great and convenient. Definitely would recommend and stay again.

The El Vado is a little gem! Everyone is super friendly, and the dining options on-site are excellent! Also, there’s a sweet little patio with misters to keep you cool while you’re eating outside. The standard rooms are a bit small, so I recommend getting a bigger room or suite if you can afford it. Nice place!

My bed was more comfortable than many hotels. Hostess Ana made the stay 10x better than it already was with her amazing service. Rooms are beautiful, great vibe, everything offered at the motel from drinks, food and live entertainment daily. Highly recommended and will definitely be back.

This is a great property, conveniently located on route 66. Although on route 66, our room was very quiet. We loved the vibe of this place. There’s a lot happening to participate if you wish to we appreciate the on-site taproom, the choice On site restaurants that delivered To our table, the happy hour for hotel guests that went on all evening, and the pool for guests. Our room looked recently renovated and was quite contemporary. Although Small, the room had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.

It was windy and there was something loose on the roof that caused a loud banging in our room. Could not find any staff at the desk to help. Finally walked around the back of the room and found a circuit box door was open and banging in the wind. I fixed it but then it started up again. Finally found a staff member that tied it up. 2 hours after hearing the banging.
