Throughout our time at Spyglass, we had to pinch ourselves to believe we were really there, witnessing such incredible views and charm.
Everything was smooth and as expected. We were two and then in the last few days three people (one couple) and the house was just the right size for us. A few days before we arrived, Barney reached out about how to coordinate with Mark to arrange a taxi and pre-stocking with groceries. We took advantage of both services, which were great. The walk to Windwardside was easy and pleasant for us moderately fit folks, and by the end of our ten days we were even able to walk back to Spyglass (i.e., up the hill) with no pauses. The beds were comfy and everything was clean and fresh. We especially appreciated the many seating options outdoors, depending on whether we wanted to watch the sunrise or sunset, stargaze, or eat breakfast.
It was incredibly hard to leave Spyglass and Saba more generally. Both are truly special and we look forward to our return.
