Weekend away in York
Had a lovely stay at Novotel in York. Very clean and good standard room. Close to the centre. Only down side is, you can hear the noise from the corridor at times. Our room was next to the lift.

Great location
A nice hotel in a great location Within walking distance of the centre The Barbican Theatre is just 500 metres away so ideal for anyone visiting for a concert

Not what we expected from a Novotel hotel.
Room was tiny for 2 adults and 2 children. Housekeeping missed our room. Room was not very clean, there were marks in the tiny toilet. Overall, not worth what we spent.

Rooms need updating but facilities great!
Really friendly staff and lovely location. The bar/reception area was nice and breakfast options were really good. Rooms definitely need updating, stained carpets and damaged furniture was very noticeable.

Would stay again!
Great location right by the riverwalk into town, friendly staff and good value for money. Multi-generational stay and all ages enjoyed the hotel, great family option. Onsite parking at reasonable cost and EV charging a real bonus.

This was our third time staying at the Novotel and we can’t recommend it enough. It feels perfect for families with young children. Swimming pool is great and it’s a 10 minute walk to the centre of the city.

It was ok. But I missed breakfast the first day as I didn’t realise you had to book, and then the second day I had no breakfast included. I explained this to the desk staff hoping to get my breakfast the second day to no avail. Apart from that it’s a nice room in a decent location
