Ok for one night by small bed
Hotel is fine, very friendly staff. Our bed was very small and so was the TV. Sad to say that for the same price you get much more comfort in the Premier Inn just down the road.

We stayed here as it was such a good price for a night in York. When we arrived, we Pulled into the car park, which was full. A lovely member of staff moved a car so that we could have a space, which was so kind, and greatly appreciated. When we went into the hotel, we knew we had made a good choice. It was decked out with a huge Christmas tree, and was just very welcoming. When we checked in, we told the lady that we had to book a twin room as all the doubles had gone. After a couple of minutes, she had managed to swap our room to a double, which again was above and beyond. We went to explore the Christmas market, which was literally a 10 minute walk. Making it a perfect location. The room was spotless, and roomy. Breakfast was fabulous, you could chose from a selection of food to start - grapefruit, granola/yoghurt & honey, cereals and pastries. Then several choices for your main breakfast. We went for the full English with toast, tea and fresh juice. Faultless, and the staff really looked after us. Do not hesitate to book, we will be back when we visit York next. A little gem. Thank you 😁

We were very impressed with this hotel. All the staff were exceptional in friendliness, politeness and professionalism. Our room was perfect for our stay..very clean and comfortable. We would have no hesitation to stay there again.

So much more than its 2 stars
We stayed for 1 night only and from the moment we arrived the staff couldn't have been more helpful. We were able to park in the hotel car park but spaces are limited. There is parking available on the street outside but check the signs as some places are for 2 hours max. The hotel is welcoming, warm and very comfy. Our room, no. 40, a twin, is on the top floor and suited us perfectly. It's quiet and spotlessly clean with plenty of room for all our things.The shower is hot but dont expect a power shower! We were treated to a welcome coffee and the breakfast was really good quality and plenty of it. It was a lovely stay, wish it had been for longer

This is a little Gem conveniently situated for the short walk to the centre and close to the railway station Staff very pleasant rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really nice all quality products and quick service I would definitely recommend this Hotel
