"Room and hotel was in new condition, very clean in common spaces as well as the room itself. The room was nice and spacious and a true king bed for US travelers. The front desk staff was very friendly and accomodating!"

"Charming ryokan. Onsen on top floor has separate bathing for men and women, lovely way to begin and end the day. The rooms come with half board, so a very special dinner and breakfast filled with Japanese delicacies. Location is convenient, it’s about a 15 minute walk from the tobu Nikko station but you can take the number 1 bus that leaves you a block or so away. Quite convenient to the attractions. Lovely mountainous view with brook from the window."

"The hotel property is amazing. But don’t like the area. Everything closed around 5:00 pm. There was no restaurant s in the area and shopping, so we have to eat at the hotel. "
