"Arrived on foot from the nearest bus stop. The pub hanging sign is missing so i entered the premises and confirmed with the cheery lady working the bar that i was in the right place😁 After the paperwork was completed i had to pay a £50 non-smoking deposit which i expect to see refunded onto my card. I was shown to room 13, a single room, as booked and also shown where the washroom was. The room contained a kettle, tea, coffee, a fan, a nightlight and a small flat screen TV, so was well appointed. The time for breakfast was also discussed and selected. All the staff i encountered were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was cereal, toast and also a cooked meal as well. Fried egg, grilled tomato, baked beans, 2 sausages and 3 rashers of bacon. Perfect! On leaving, i asked where the nearest bus stop was which headed out of town. Turns out that it is right opposite the pub! Again, perfect! For those driving, there is a car park accessible to the rear of the property via Chiltern Road."

"A cosy cottage in quiet location. Perfect for visiting Whipsnade zoo and Harry Potter studios. Had everything we needed for a short stay. Only negative was the parking as it was difficult to find a space on the very narrow lanes."

"Everything was pretty good. Only issue was the initial communication, which got better after some light probing. Definitely a place we'd happily return to and would wnjoy staying at again."

"Lovely property overall; very clean, good facilities, and very comfortable. Prior communication re access to property was poor. They said via automated email that info would be sent before 1pm of day of booking; it was not. Arrived at property and had to call to get accesd info. This took about 15 mins of sending ID, waiting for video of key box location, getting key box code, with a very stiff front door - all whilst cold, wet and getting dark. Not a good start. Bathroom door did not close properly, and handle was broken so you could not open from inside of bathroom for entire stay. Booked for 3 people but only 1 set of keys. Hot water in shower was cold on morning of booking. "
