"The hotel oozed character with its Tudor styling and timeless interior. The bar and restaurant area with its wooden panelling was charming and authentic. The bedrooms were stylish and clean with comfortable bed and seating, and the lovely warm bathroom was finished in a modern but not out of place styling. "Stayed here for a weekend with our doggy, daughter had just moved close by and was visiting. Could do with a bit of updating, I wouldn’t recommend 5 people staying here as it was cramped for us and there was just 2 of us. The second bedroom pics showed 2 single beds but it was a single bed in there with an under bed. Shower a bit basic,thought the property was a bit overpriced really but considering it’s in the South maybe not. Central heating was good and a good supply of hot water no restrictions. Very busy road found it difficult to park at times. Good chippy at the end of the road.Weather was good, plenty to do"
