Loved the hotel. Located in a quiet peaceful neighborhood a few blocks from busy squares, Museums, etc. Silent at night for an incredible nights sleep. Bed and room well organized and comfortable. Front desk and house keeping friendly and attentive. Could use plusher bath towels.

We loved our stay at Notting Hill!

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely boutique hotel. The room was modern and clean. It perfectly accommodated our family of 4 with a queen sized bed and two twin beds. The residential neighborhood had stores and shops within easy walking distance. An open air market is close by too. The staff were friendly and helpful. Cleaning services were provided daily. We were able to walk to some major museums in less than 20-25 minutes and the journey was through charming neighborhoods along the canals. We also enjoyed the hotel’s daily breakfast buffet served with a wide variety of freshly prepared items.

Disappointed!

We booked a room for our family of four (two children). The room was not as spacious as described and was located at basement level. The window was at the same height as the street outside, allowing people on the street to see into the room unless the curtain was kept closed. The bathroom door was made of glass, with a gap along the edges, providing no privacy. Additionally, the bathroom door had a problem: my daughter became locked inside and was unable to open it for 20 minutes. This is the first time I have ever felt the need to complain about a hotel in 20 years of staying in hundreds of hotel rooms.

Nice Hotel -- But Unusual Food Policy

This is a nice hotel, centrally located and a good value for money. My only concern with the hotel was the policy that guest could not eat food in the bar area. We were a group of eight on our last day of holiday. We wanted to have a final drink and snack together. When we returned to the hotel at 9PM the kitchen was closed. It was raining and cold out, so we did not want to head out of the hotel again. When we asked if we could order some snacks to share via a food delivery service, we were told no. I understand this policy if the kitchen is closed. I understand this policy if the bar is full (there were not customers). I understand this policy if we wanted to enter the restaurant area that had been prepared for dinner. I don't understand why eight adults could not order food to share and eat it in the bar area -- especially since they allow food there when the kitchen is open.

The hotel was beautiful and clean. Although the rooms were soundproofed, we could hear some street noise as we were in the basement. The room and bathroom were very big and bed really comfortable. Plenty of choice for breakfast.Staff were lovely and friendly too.
