The housekeeper woke me up by tapping on the door one morning, & calling 'room service'. It was just on 9am, I was asleep & confused as to why she was knocking. I hadnt requested a wake up call & I hadnt ordered room service. It turned out she wanted to clean the room and was an unnecessary intrusion.

Lovely quiet stay
The hotel was very good at explaining that the renovations were still taking place on the exterior - so I knew what to expect. The rooms were completed and are really lovely. Spacious and have all the amenities I needed. The food from the restaurant was fantastic and I would definitely return. One of the great things about its location is the bus stop right outside the entrance making it easy to get around using public transport.

Stayed mid October 2024. When booking our room we were not told that we would be in a separate building to the hotel and had to climb a rather steep set of stairs which had no cover from the weather. We had no assistance with our heavy luggage to our room(we are in our mid 60’s)except for a tiny built female employee with my luggage and she even struggled to get the suitcase up the stairs. We had no information on the hotel and no guidance as to where the restaurant was onsite. On certain nights up in the roof cavity above us there was banging happening. The shower is unsafe as there is a step up I to it which is approx 30cm high and you needed to hold the door and vanity to step down safely. Can’t understand the logic in that one. For these reasons I would not recommend staying there unless you know from the outset exactly where the room is. Loved Auckland.

Room was lovely. Pity that the pool was undergoing renovations as it was out of use. I specifically chose a property with a pool so my child could swim. So that was disappointing.

The young, female receptionist was a joy to deal with and made me feel very welcome and well-looked after. Room was beautifully clean and spacious with crisp, white bed sheets and modern decor throughout. I would've given 5 stars had the bed and pillows been more comfortable. To be fair though, I believe the hotel is currently undergoing renovations, so I'm sure that will be remedied soon enough.

Hotel was amazing in Parnell. Receptionist at check in was super friendly and helpful. Room must have been recently renovated as was really modern and clean. Definitely will be staying here again.

Smell the roses (and jasmine)! Super hotel well-situated close to bus stop, excellent breakfast and dinner in the restaurant. In early November when we visited, the rose garden opposite is in full bloom and and added bonus for our stay!

A nice stay
5th stay at this hotel. There has been ongoing construction work happening over the last year, but there was minimal noise or disruption. It is good see improvements being made each time we come back. We were in town for Pearl Jam.
