Creekside Cottage Star5Vacations

Come experience small town living in this private home located in the charming town of Black Mountain. It sits on over an acre of beautifully landscaped grounds with a large, long driveway. The massive screened in porch is perfect for relaxing or reading a book. It has a dining table for dinner under the stars. The large master bedroom has a king bed, walk-in closet, and large walk in shower. There is 1 queen bedroom and 1 bunk bedroom (both bunks are full size) that share the guest bathroom (bathtub). TVs are in both living rooms. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need!
Other things to note:
LATE CHECK-OUTS & EARLY CHECK-INS: Check-in time is 4PM and checkout time is 10AM. Door codes do not activate until set check-in time. Early access will not be provided without prior approval. Guests who check-in early or checkout past checkout time will charged the additional fee of $50/hr.
There is a security camera facing the driveway that will be on during your stay. Any pets or extra guest seen on property is subject to a charge.

Perfect for what we wanted
My husband and I stayed in this charming home, and for the weekend had our son and his family join us. The beds were super comfortable, and the kitchen equipped so I could prepare a big taco meal and eat out on the patio in the evening. We all enjoyed the screened porch and the big yard, playing hide and seek with the grandkids. We left just before the hurricane and hope that this home did not suffer the damage to the area.

Creekside Cottage was a lovely spot just outside Black Mountain. House is furnished with everything one needs and spotless. Comfortable beds, complete kitchen, and wonderful screened in porch. There were only 3 of us but this house can very comfortably accommodate a group. Lots of space inside and out. Hope to enjoy again in the future. Host quickly responds texts!

Delightful stay in Black Mountain
Creekside Cottage is wonderful! The house is very spacious, spotlessly clean, and the grounds are beautiful. Everything you could possibly need for your stay is provided, and the host is available close by should something arise. The location is minutes from the town of Black Mountain and also convenient to attractions and other towns in the area. Our family had the best time at this sweet home--especially listening to mountain rain showers from the front porch. We will absolutely stay again!

I’ve stayed in vrbo properties for over 20 years. This one was one of the best for what I needed and expect. Quiet, yet convenient to town, beautiful landscape outside and comfortable, well decorated inside with lots of small touches I haven’t found before aka s’mores ingredients and bath products. Communication was excellent and the property was very nice. Very convenient to Black Mountain and the surrounding areas - eg Asheville. The house offers ample parking, a very nice screened in from porch, a fire pit to enjoy outside and a large yard. It was stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The beds were very comfortable. We were very pleased overall and would recommend this property to anyone visiting the area.

Fabulous home and location. We loved it so much, we didn't want to leave. The master shower was amazing. The smores packet was a nice touch. There's a lot to do in this area and we barely scratched the surface. I think we will plan another visit and stay here again. We spent a lovely week here. The house is in a quiet neighborhood. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The seating inside and out is very comfortable and there is plenty of it. The screen porch is awesome but be aware that there is road noise. Would definitely stay again.

We had a severe water problem on arrival where the water was the color of mud. It did not get resolved the next day so we left. My wife is in poor health and we could not risk using tainted water. We have contacted the owner's management company via email and phone twice. They do not respond to phone calls. They decided to refund half our payment which is better than none. The property itself was excellent, great private location. The site manager tried helping but the management company needs to learn how to treat its customers with respect.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. Such a pretty location and just a lovely and comfortable house. Lots of room, perfectly maintained, super comfy beds, many places to gather for meals and conversation - perfectly met all of our needs. Everything was neat and organized, with nice little touches that made our visit lovely. Definitely recommend and we’ll certainly be return guests the next time we gather in Black Mountain.

We booked this property due to its proximity to a conference at Montreat that we were managing and wanted a comfortable, homey location for our 10+ day stay. This property is very clean and well appointed. We enjoyed the double sitting areas for early morning coffee or evening relaxation. This home is an easy ride and close to area nature trails and attractions. The corner market store is convenient and even had half and half for coffee which we really didn’t expect. The main grocery store is also conveniently located. We would stay at this property again if the opportunity arose.

The cottage was clean, spacious, and provided all of the amenities and comforts of home. The property was located in a secluded area, with very little noise or activity from surrounding properties. We enjoyed the tranquility of the surroundings, the beautiful, well-maintained yard, and the neat little stream that meandered through the property. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation. The front screened-in porch and beautiful yard were the highlights of our stay.
