Not bad, just need to extend breakfast hours

Last-minute stay booked due to flight delay. Unpleasant surprises: shuttle service ended before we arrived. Breakfast ended at 9:30. I watched several people turned away when they went for breakfast. Should serve later, especially when so many of the customers are travelers dealing with late nights and odd schedules. 10:30 would be much more compassionate. That said, the building could use some updates but the room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and staff were accommodating, allowing no-hassle late check-out (noon).

I don't normally expect to be able to dine for dinner at a Holiday Express. Our flights were cancelled so we took the free shuttle over to the hotel. The driver was wonderful. He even called ahead to be sure the kitchen was still open. We got a quick bite to eat at the bar (also not expected). Comfy rooms and very nice staff.

I was very surprised at the excellent quality of this hotel. Yes, it is a budget category hotel, but I really felt like I had been well taken care of. They even asked me how things were via text. And there was a bar! With a completely acceptable list of dinner bites! I was very well pleased.
