The air conditioner in the room needs an update. It would run for a few minutes, get the room just right and then shut off for a very long period of time and the room would get too warm again. Very tough sleeping when it was so hot

Likes: Nice surroundings and clean guest pool area The hotel and rooms are dated. The breakfast wasnt great ( service was good). Wish there were better guest options at the pool and also shaded guest options at the big pool which unfortunately i did not visit even once as it was always packed with jumping kids. It was a good overall stay and I would come back just because its the only one in the area for hot pools

Building has been around. Some work clearly had been done on some rooms, just not ours. If you have any mobility issues, you need to be clear when booking. Pool has been maintained, the new gate system works well, water quality is high. Food was good, servers were awesome.

We had a good stay at Fairmont Resort when attending a friend’s wedding. Our standard room was clean and had all that we needed, albeit a bit dated. We walked around the grounds and saw that the public pool looked to be a bit loud and crowded for our liking, but it was a weekend in August so would be expected during peak season! The guest pool looked fairly quiet but we just didn’t have time to take advantage. The restaurants were both fine, but served largely the same menu which. Service was really good and friendly, so that was a plus. Overall it was a good experience but felt just “good” rather than “great” for the price. Would stay again but likely not at peak times.

A great place for a couple of days R and R. Just don't expect the resort to be 4 star. The rooms are clean and quaint but could use a little TLC. The pool areas are clean and open long hours. If there is heavy rain they close the main pool due to mud in the creek water they use to mix with the super hot mineral water. Food is just good, not exceptional but the servers are mostly local and provide great service and information on the area. We will go back but just think you need to know what to expect.

I have high expectations for our stay, so a bit disappointed for the room we have - a classic two queen bedroom, which is by the elevator and facing the parking lot. Old room and a lot of noise.
