The only real positive of this property was the location. It’s located right in the heart of the large city square so very walkable, especially for the Christmas market. The beds were VERY uncomfortable. If you are unfortunately assigned a room with the window facing the restaurant, your room will likely smell like old cabbage. We tried to go downstairs for an early dinner and were shooed away by the host because we didn’t have a reservation. The breakfast was very overpriced and not worth the 70 lei. I think there are better options available to travelers in Braşov.

Stay here. It's really good.
Perfect location. A couple of mins walk from the bus station with connections to both the train station and the airport. It was right on the main square (but not noisy), really helpful receptionist. Couldn't fault it.

Fabulous location and wonderful staff! Charming Old World room. The restaurant is amazing- fresh in house pasta and the best lamb I’ve ever had! Highly recommend!!

There is no reserved parking at the hotel. You will n ed to use payed parking on the streets. Even with this, it was a fantastic stay.

Historic and very nice. Great location. Park in the paid parking lot up the street before you get to square. Parking in Brasov is terrible. Get it figured out before you go.

Charming hotel, wonderful staff, perfect location
I can't recommend this hotel enough. The location is ideal, with the front door on Piața Sfatului, the main square in the heart of the old town. You can easily walk to restaurants and shops and see the highlights in the area. What was really delightful was the incredibly helpful and attentive staff. They are at the front desk 24 hours and answered all of our questions. They had a lovely note and gift in our room to celebrate our anniversary. They checked on us whenever they would see us to make sure we were enjoying our stay and had everyone we need. And the hotel was delightful, rustic but very clean and with so much light. It was convenient to have the restaurant attached to the back, and the breakfast was really good. We can't wait to visit again.

The hotel is beautiful, clean and service is kind. Unclear situation about AC (open windows worked for us). Directly outside is a lively restaurant scene. BE AWARE ACCESSIBILITY POOR!!! Parking is an issue as this is centrally located with no short term parking to even drop people/luggage. You also have a long stair case to main floor, another to the breakfast area, and most likely to rooms.

Excellent hotel. Very quaint. Excellent location. Clean and comfortable. Highly recommended. Only drawback is that there’s no elevator so be prepared to take stairs as needed. With luggage and all.

Unfortunately we didn’t get the room that we pay for. Not the picture that we saw at the website. It was a room in the basement! Many stress to go down to the room!! The view from the window was garbage! We told the girl in the front desk that I can’t go all this stress down but she said no more room. ( she gave after that a room to another guy) We felt that because we ordered the room from hotels.com , they didn’t care. I will add pictures with the “view” from the window. Also a cleaning guy was there all morning making noise. The hotel didn’t mention at the web that they don’t have parking, so we had to park far and 8am ran to pay .
