"If you are looking for a quiet place to relax and slow your pace, this place is perfect. The dive shop was incredible, brewery and the cove were perfect close by options and we also had a local named Henry pick us up on the boat and take us down the beach to his restaurant. Our kids loved the pool and we loved our slow mornings on the porch with coffee watching all the lizards and hummingbirds. The only downfall is the noseeums be prepared with bug sprays and ointments! Don’t be afraid to venture out too, we found the island people to be so friendly and kind. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at Palmetto Bay. We booked a last minute trip (literally the day before) to the island and the property manager made the transition effortless. We loved the quiet, serene setting that was perfect for the kiddos to have space to explore nature. The pool and beach were perfect- beautiful and not at all crowded. Everyone was so kind in the resort and the car rental made it easy to get around the island. Having a few more restaurant options close by would have been nice, but it was definitely not a deal-breaker for us. We will definitely be back to enjoy this slice of paradise! "

"My family (with two young boys) stayed nearly a week at this property. It is a very convenient location on the island, very quiet, comfortable, welcoming. We had everything we needed. The proximity to the restaurant, pool, and beach was great. The property manager, Carolina, was incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive. My kids are already asking if we can go back. "

"We had an amazing stay at Palmetto Bay, beautiful beach front house with everything we needed. The location and beach are one of the better views on the island, not the white sand of West Bay but doesn’t have all the cruise traffic either. Nice dive shop right on site, and restaurant is good as well. Property is very well maintained, and if Injad any questions the host responded immediately. We took the kayak out several mornings and tied up at the buoy directly in front of the house. This allowed us to snorkel right at the reef, saw rays, sharks, lobster, crab, and a ton of fish. It’s a 1/4 mile trek, took about 10 minutes and well worth it. Don’t mess with snorkeling around the dock, head out to the buoy, you won’t be disappointed. We also like to cook in as much as we can, the kitchen had everything we needed, would definitely recommend."

"Mountain house was an oasis that had us wish we were staying longer. Great setup with the two bedrooms and their own bathrooms. Calm, quiet, and a great view. The restaurant in the neighborhood was great for when we didn't want to cook and the pool at the house was great to hang out in with a cocktail. Kitchen is well stocked with spices and cookware. Will definitely be back!"
